7 Simple Steps To Get Superhero Shredded Like Wolverine

The Exact 7 Steps Formula You Need To Improve Your Insulin Sensitivity To Get Ripped Like Wolverine

Trying to lose body fat?

Want to get ripped like Wolverine?

Then improving insulin sensitivity should be #1 on your priority list… I’ll explain:

When it comes to fat loss, most experts will tell you it’s reasonable to lose 4 lbs. per month max… and that’s on a strict plan! I think this is ridiculously slow, boring, and not very superhero like.

In fact, all of my best clients lost a hell of a lot more than 4 lbs. per per month…

Losing 4 lbs. per month is kind of like driving down Fat Loss Blvd in a Honda Civic. You’ll get where you want to go, but it will take some time and it won’t be very exciting.

Kind of lame, right?

Improving your insulin sensitivity is kind of like ditching the Honda Civic for a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta — the most powerful series-production Ferrari ever. It’s sexy, it’s fun, it’s exciting, and holy hell it’s fast.

Not only will it get you where you want to go, but you’ll get their exponentially faster than everyone else. In fact, you’ll literally blow the doors off anyone else driving down Fat Loss Blvd…

And because of the speed, you’ll attract a lot of attention along the way. You’ll eventually get used to head turns, but for now — this is awesome and a BIG change from the Honda Civic.

But before you jump into your newly washed and waxed Ferrari, you’ll need to understand what insulin is and why insulin sensitivity is so freakin’ important.

So, without further ado…

What is insulin?

Insulin is like your body’s magic hormone… powerful enough to help you burn fat or build muscle anytime you’d like. Like a troubled teenager it tends to be a bit misunderstood and as a result it often gets a bad rap. But insulin can be either good or bad depending on your perspective and how you choose to use it.

And like alcohol, insulin can either be your best friend or your worst enemy. One drink to remember and another to forget. How often does the “best night ever” become “I’ll never drink again?” Insulin is kind of like that.

The best part, unless you’re a diabetic, you have a choice on when and in what amounts your body releases insulin. Both the good and evil side of insulin are well within your reach, it’s up to you how to use it.

Insulin is often referred to as a “storage hormone” and for good reason. When you eat food, that food is broken down into nutrients that make their way into your bloodstream. Protein breaks down into amino acids, dietary fats break down into fatty acids, and carbs break down into glucose.

Insulin is then released by the pancreas to remove the nutrients from your bloodstream. Once removed from the bloodstream, the nutrients can be stored in your liver, in your muscles, or as body fat.

The Awesome Side Of Insulin

Insulin is the most anabolic and anti-catabolic hormone in the body. For anyone interested in packing on slabs of lean muscle, let me repeat… insulin is the most anabolic and anti-catabolic hormone in the body. This means insulin can help you build a metric shit ton of lean muscle mass.

When you combine the power of insulin with a medium-rare ribeye steak, grass-fed butter, and some Vitamin D – you’ve got the closest thing you can get to legal steroids without spending a fortune, all the acne, mood swings, and things like depression and death.

Equally as important, insulin is fantastically anti-catabolic which means it can help you preserve your hard-earned muscle mass. This is incredibly important when “cutting” and running a caloric deficit… because insulin acts like a superhuman force field preventing your body from tapping your precious muscle mass for energy.

Hey, I thought this article was about fat loss and getting ripped like Wolverine? Sorry, I get carried away when talking about gainz. I just can’t get enough. If you want more information on building muscle, check out 4 Simple Steps For Building More Muscle Mass.

Let’s talk about the fat loss benefits of insulin now…

Why is it important to increase insulin sensitivity?

Increasing insulin sensitivity will allow your body to better leverage the insulin it releases.

In other words, your body’s use of insulin will be more effective. This is incredibly important because research indicates insulin sensitivity (the opposite of resistance) is linked to shredded abs and lean muscular physiques… kind of like body Hugh Jackman rocked in Wolverine.

On the other hand, insulin resistance (the opposite of sensitivity) is linked to love-handles, higher levels belly fat, and type 2 diabetes. This type of physique is more like Penguin from Batman Returns. Yeah, not good… that’s pretty much the opposite of what you want.

Now, you can probably understand why increasing insulin sensitivity is so damn important…

7 Simple Steps To Improve Insulin Sensitivity

1. Following a 16/8 intermittent fasting protocol has been proven effective. This is where you skip breakfast and take a later lunch. Doing so will keep insulin low for 16-hours before spiking it during your 8-hour eating window. For more information see Intermittent Fasting For Rapid Fat Loss.

2. Limit fruit intake to only 1-2 servings per day max. I eat 150g of fruit per day, which is roughly a very large handful. I also eat only the healthiest fruits with the lowest sugar and most antioxidants. For example: blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries.

3. Avoid trans fats like the plague. There is a reason why they are being banned. No further explanation needed. They wreck havoc on your body. When you do your cheat meals, stick to cheat foods made from high-quality ingredients like Sprinkles Cupcakes or Whole Foods pizza.

4. Supplementing with Omega-3 fish oil or krill oil has been proven effective.

5. Supplementing with Vitamin D3 has also been proven effective.

6. Drinking green tea or supplement with green tea extract has been proven by research.

7. Pair your carbs with Saigon cinnamon in order to help blunt the insulin response. You can add this to your protein shakes as well. Safely take up to one (1) Tsp per day in one-fourth (1/4) Tsp increments.

Follow these 7 steps and you’ll be ripped like Wolverine and look Superhero shredded in no time. Even better, increasing your insulin sensitivity will help you pack on slabs of lean, rock-hard muscle mass.
